Roxi D’Lite (Canada)

Roxi D’Lite is one of the world’s premier burlesque performers and a Queen of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
There has been no shortage of accolades for Roxi in her illustrious career. In 2010, Roxi became one of the youngest performers to ever be crowned Miss Exotic World and hasn’t looked back. Known as the Drinkin’, Smokin, Strippin’ Machine, Roxi has also been called the Bad Girl of Burlesque—a hefty accolade considering the eclectic cast of burlesque’s ecdysiasts. For four consecutive years Roxi has been voted in the “Top 10 Burlesque Performers” in the world.
Unanimously credited as Canada’s Burlesque Queen, Roxi is an innovator of the burlesque world. Classic striptease with a modern twist is the hallmark of Roxi’s performance style; a trailblazer who seamlessly blends elaborate props and costumes with circus performances. Roxi was originally trained on the lyra (aerial hoop) by a former Cirque du Soleil performer and has made aerial performances her calling card. She continues to push boundaries by including the use of a Cyr Wheel making Roxi the first and only burlesque performer in the world to use this breathtaking device.
Roxi has performed around the world and is a star of stage and screen. She joined the ranks of burlesque royalty at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas where she became the first and only Canadian to win the coveted Miss Exotic World pageant. In the past year alone, Roxi has dazzled millions of people on stage, television and in the starring role of the award-winning feature film The Burlesque Assassins. Roxi recently took the world of comic books by storm where she appeared as a guest-villain in The Goon, an Eisner Award-winning comic published by Dark Horse.
A self-proclaimed stripographer, Roxi’s lengthy performance resume as a burlesque performer, aerial artist, and pinup model paved the way for Roxi D’Lite Photography, a vintage pin-up and glamour photography studio.
Believe it or not, Roxi was once camera shy. She began modeling for her own promotional material and fell in love with the camera. The Drinkin’, Smokin’, Strippin’ Machine now works both sides of a camera for Roxi D’Lite Photography. Using her background in graphic design and her eye for glamour, Roxi styles, shoots and edits all of her modeling material as well as anyone else who wants to be a “Pin-Up for a Day.”
Roxi has garnered worldwide attention for her ongoing project of photographing burlesque’s top stars. In what began as a fun side endeavor of capturing images of her burlesque friends, the project has grown into one of the largest collections of top burlesque stars from the past and present.
From coast to coast, Roxi’s reputation has been indelibly etched in the annals of time. In Vancouver, The Province called her “a bubbly, ravishing presence” and in Halifax, the Chronicle-Herald referred to her simply as the “Notorious Roxi”. The Detroit Free Press refers to Roxi as, “the reigning burlesque diva” and the Globe and Mail calls her, “a stellar variety act.”

Roxi continues to wow audiences making true believers out of skeptics and winning the hearts of fans around the world.
