Miss Ava L’Amoureux hails from the Wild West coast of the North Island. Growing weary of small town life, with dreams of the spotlight Miss L’Amoureux bundled her costumes into her rhinestone encrusted suitcase and hustled her way north to Auckland, town of Glamour and Vice.
With a cheeky shimmy and a knowing wink, the lovely Miss L’Amoureux enjoys performing classic and neo style burlesque, and believes a costume should sparkle like a bathtub full of champagne. By turns glamourous, cheeky, creative and audacious, Miss Ava likes to keep you guessing. Despite her diminutive size, this lil’ lady has a caboose that shakes like a freight train. Her shimmy and shake will bring the house down (metaphorically, though you better believe she will be assessing your stage for structural integrity).
Miss Ava has been performing since 2010, including regular performances with the Rock n Roll Circus. She has trained with Jo Weldon (New York School of Burlesque), Misty La Moore (Hootchy Cootchy Girls, Auckland) and Miss La Vida (Auckland).
