Goldie White embarked on her glamorous Burlesque career in 2012 as part of a Fan Dancing duo act with BBFF (Burlesque Best Friends Forever), Natasha. The two girls met at Blush Dance School in Sydney under the tutelage of the divine and illustrious Sheena Miss Demeanour.
Encouraged with overwhelming love and support by those around them Natasha and Goldie began performing at private parties and ‘The Vault Cabaret’ in Port Kembla. But as fate would have it the duo was short lived. Natasha announced the welcome news she was “in the family way” and Goldie was enticed back to her hometown Melbourne to live happily ever after with her long-term sweetheart.
Slowly the girls got over the shock of their separation and Goldie bravely seized the moment embarking on a solo career. With enormous success Goldie performed at ‘The Peel – Slide Bar’, ‘The Order of Melbourne’, ‘The Ladies Lounge – Cushion Lounge’ and was invited back to perform the opening number for ‘Treasures from the Vault’, The Vault Cabaret’s end of year showcase at IPAC, (Illawarra Performing Arts Centre), NSW.
New to Melbourne’s Burlesque scene, Goldie is thrilled by the prospects of making many new BBFF’s in Victoria and beyond. Always delighting, titillating and inspiring her audiences, Goldie bedazzles the stage with her unique, glamorous Golden Era Hollywood costuming style and showgirl inspired Burlesque routines.
