Dolores Daiquiri

Director and co-founder of the worlds largest touring burlesque festival, producer of a vast number of successful events & shows, a burlesque mentor & teacher, well-established and respected burlesque artist, Dolores is in demand and is an Australian Burlesque Star! She is a consummate performer, a doyen of the industry, an in-demand producer and a mainstay within the burlesque community.

Dolores Daiquiri began her career at the forefront of the Burlesque ‘explosion’ over fifteen years ago and is considered a pioneer of the revival of burlesque in Australia. Starting her journey as a founding member of Australia’s longest serving burlesque troupe and then as a soloist in 2009, Dolores continues to perform and star in a vast array of showcases in Australia and internationally which encompasses local & corporate events, private shows and media launches. Dolores regularly performs at popular burlesque and cabaret venues.

As a producer she has launched and produced many exciting and hugely successful events including ‘The Australian Burlesque Festival’ which tours nationally every year to sold out audiences. Her current project ‘Bubble Glamour Productions’ launched in early 2017. Combining her performance, production and event management experience to deliver a ‘Boutique Entertainment’ service.

Angel Leggas

Angel has worked in the Melbourne professional & independent arts scene for over twenty years as an actor, writer, director, producer, photographer and videographer. He founded his own production company – 3 Fates Media in 2011 and has since produced numerous theatre works including the sold out season of ‘Triage! A Nursing Cabaret’ as part of the 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Festival, the silent comedy ‘Last Mime Standing’ for the 2014 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Box Office smash and 2013 Green Room Nominated Cabaret – ‘The Yummy Burlesque Hour’. In 2014, Angel wrote, directed, produced and filmed 2 advertising campaigns for AFL Victoria as well as producing another sell out season of ‘The Yummy Burlesque Hour’ at Melbourne’s iconic Butterfly Club.

2015 saw Angel’s production company – 3 Fates Media, providing multimedia services for the acclaimed, sell out season of ‘The Living Museum of Erotic Women – Written and Directed by Willow J Conway and produced by Bernzerk Productions. He was also a major sponsor of the Miss Burlesque Australia Victorian final. In 2016 and 2017, 3 Fates Media was brought on as an official partner of the Australian Burlesque Festival, providing photography, videography and marketing services showcasing performances over the month long event and will continue this proud association in 2019.

Just Call Me Cat is the boutique illustration and graphic design practice run by Catherine Berruer, or Cat for short! A keen aficionado of Burlesque, pin-up art and all things vintage, Cat’s work draws inspiration from a by-gone era to create elegant, custom-made and carefully crafted brands and illustrations.

With more than 10 years of experience creating visuals for the Arts, Cat’s approach to new projects is tailored to the individual. Offering valuable design advice, creative sensitivity and attention to detail, Cat makes collaborations with clients smooth and enjoyable, so that the end result is of the highest quality.

Cherry returns to the team for 2019 bringing with her a wealth of theatre knowledge both on and off stage. She is excited to once again be leading the charge to find the perfect roles for our volunteers whilst ensuring a smooth journey for all of our wonderful performers.

Working with some of the leading names in the industry she is forging her path across the stages of Melbourne and looking forward to taking on the rest of Australia soon.

Artemis Seven

Artemis will be joining ABF in 2019 as the official Social Media Manager.

Artemis Seven is the child of the goddess Artemis and an AI, created to stave off the inevitable demise of the ancient gods in the new world. The first prototype to survive the merge, Artemis is by nature so experimental that even she doesn’t know what she’s doing until it’s been done. Winner Burlesque Idol Canberra 2017, Runner up ABF New Follies 2017.
