3. Teacher bio: Aria Delanoche is an award-winning & well-traveled performer known for her innovative and extravagant costuming. She also carries years of professional fashion styling under her belt. She took the title of Queen of the Striptease in 2020, Duchess of Exotic World in 2022, and has won multiple awards from the Burlesque Hall of Fame.
4. Workshop bio: So you’ve put your thing down. Now let’s teach you how to flip it and reverse it!!! Take your floorwork to the next level with fun, dynamic movement. Whether you’ve been wanting to nail that shoulder roll, are tired of doing the same four tricks, or just need a finale moment that’s *not* the splits… Aria’s brand new floor course, informed by almost a decade of stripping in clubs and on burlesque stages, will help you expand your floorwork vocabulary. Because rolling around on the floor is sexy! Please come prepared with knee pads and clothing you can move in. Some floorwork experience is recommended, but all are welcome.

3. Teacher bio: Dolores is in demand and is an Australian Burlesque Star! She is a consummate performer, a doyen of the industry, an in-demand producer and a mainstay within the burlesque community. Dolores Daiquiri began her career at the forefront of the Burlesque ‘explosion’ over nineteen years ago and is considered a pioneer of the revival of burlesque in Australia. Starting her journey as a founding member of Australia’s longest serving burlesque troupe and then as a soloist in 2009, Dolores continues to perform and star in a vast array of showcases in Australia and internationally which encompasses local & corporate events, private shows and media launches. Dolores regularly performs at popular burlesque and cabaret venues. As a producer she has launched and produced many exciting and hugely successful events including ‘The Australian Burlesque Festival’ which tours nationally every year to sold out audiences.

Let’s delve into developing a confident burlesque strut, getting the best out of facial expressions that tease the audience with sass and a sparkle, and bump, grind, shimmy and shake with confidence. Let’s break down the slow burn, stops and starts for maximum impact, holding your gaze and how to get the best out of your burlesque stage persona. Become bigger, better and create the character you want. Finally learn about keeping it simple but getting maximum return.

Teacher bio: Misty Rose, affectionately dubbed the “Orlando Slow Burn,” captivates audiences as a resident performer at Mathers Social Gathering, where she graces the stage with her enchanting burlesque routines every week. A versatile artist, Misty seamlessly blends the elegance of classical burlesque with the bold flair of neo-burlesque, captivating audiences across Florida and beyond with her dynamic performances.
4. Workshop bio: “Find Your Inner Goddess” is a sensual heels class full of powerful movement. Struggling with improv this is the class for you.

ABF prides itself on providing a safe and inclusive space for our teachers and students. We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, racism, homophobia, sexism or any kind of disrespect towards our teachers, students and staff.
Anyone found to be engaging in the above behaviour will be asked to leave the workshops immediately.
Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason including but not limited to:
• change of mind
• missing part or all of an Australian Burlesque Festival event due to late arrival
• unable to attend due to medical/personal reasons*
*Refunds will only be considered due to extenuating circumstances related to Covid-19 – specifically where the Australian Federal and/or State Government authorities mandate an official change/upgrade in regulations and restrictions regarding social distancing and/or large event and large group gatherings.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class commences and quietly wait outside until the workshop prior is complete. Do not enter the studio if there is a workshop.
All students are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to attend the class. ABF is not responsible for injury. Please let the instructor know if you have an injury or medical condition.
Instructors retain copyright for all content taught in the workshops. Cannot be used for commercial or public use without the instructors consent.
ABF is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Please make sure you take all items with you after the workshop.
Please leave promptly when the workshop finishes as there are other workshops immediately after.
No photos are allowed during the workshops unless the instructor has approved the shot. All students will be encouraged to join in the group shot at the end of the workshop.
If an instructor is unable to attend the workshop then a suitable substitute teacher may fill in that workshop. If not the workshop fee, excluding credit card/booking fee will be refunded.
All workshops will incur a booking fee (credit card, Paypal). No bank transfer available.
